The Oprah Magazine "Live Your Best Life" Walk
4.21.2010 In 2003, when Tracy Reep was injured in Iraq, he and his wife Elizabeth experienced first hand the struggles service members, families and especially children and teens cope with during deployments and injuries. Through that experience, Elizabeth founded Camp C.O.P.E. - to help kids deal with the sacrifices they are asked to make everyday for our country. So far we have been able to take the camp across the nation and provide coping skills to over 1500 kids. (www.campcope.org).
Cailtin is the Camp C.O.P.E. spokesperson and is proud to announce that Camp C.O.P.E. is one of ten non-profit organizations chosen to be a beneficiary of O, The Oprah Magazine’s “Live Your Best Life” Walk for a Cause on Sunday May 9, 2010. This walk will be the culmination of a 3-day event in New York City celebrating O’s tenth anniversary.
